From a body of work by NZ artist Sam Rawlings, originally created for his successful first solo exhibition 'Crouching Kiwi, Hidden Taniwhā' in 2011. After graduate medical school he put paintbrush before stethoscope, and boldly took a year out to satisfy a creative calling. With heavy influences from the pop art movement, and a dash of surrealism, Sam's collection is a light-hearted critique of culture from his Kiwi/Chinese perspective.
