About Eyeball Kicks
2005: Eyeball Kicks opened on Ghuznee St, Wellington on the 1st October. We had a couple of fun years in this space before moving to Cuba St where we spent over a decade. Our last 4-years were on Manners Street before closing the gallery doors August 2021.
We hand-picked our version of the best art prints, books, magazines, sculptures, one-off oddities, stickers, apparel, music, patches and all other manner of cool things that we shared with y'all for 17-years or so. We thoroughly enjoyed that - have a look through the Eyeball Kicks photo albums below at all the fun we had!
These days, we're spending more of our time on Custom Framing your prints from our Lower Hutt studio. With free artwork pick-up and delivery, we've made it super easy to get those special pieces from the tube and on a hook. Fill in our Quote form which you'll find on the Custom Framing page. We offer block-mounting, canvas stretching, simple poster framing and elaborate fine art framing. We have 15-years framing experience and enjoy the creative design process of finding the right materials to compliment the artwork.
We also manage the beautiful fine art print collection for NZ artist Rieko Woodford-Robinson whose works are excelling in not only masterful artistic talent but in popularity with more people connecting with her deep affection for our natural environment, native fauna and taonga of Aotearoa. We can deliver the latest prints by Rieko, professionally framed and ready to hang, in short time frames. Her works have delighted many people for years.

2023: it's an honour to still be of service to you, Monique & Calvin
Visual Art activates the human mind.
It provokes thought, emotion, inspiration and creativity.
It provides an avenue for political, social and cultural commentary.
It breaks language, gender and age barriers, and remains
one of the most unregulated forms of artistic expression.
Encourage and embrace that freedom.
