Greg Broadmore was born in 1972 in Whakatane, New Zealand.

The dinosaur-mad artist illustrated over 30 children's books before sending his folio to Weta Workshop. Since then he has been part of the design team on King Kong (2005), oversaw the Weta team designing technology and weaponry for 2009 hit District 9 and Avatar (2009).

Creator of colonial-styled, raygun-toting planetary explorer Dr Grordbort. Grordbort paraphernalia is sought after by fans around the globe. Broadmore went on to spend more than five years working on pioneering game Dr. Grordbort's Invaders, which uses Augmented Reality technology to combine animation with the real world. "When Steampunk meets adventure and adventure meets comedy and comedy meets ingenuity and ingenuity meets charm and charm meets wonder and wonder meets pleasure, the result is a Triumph. Dr. Grordbort is the future. And the past. Which makes an ideal present." - Stephen Fry on Greg Broadmore’s 2012 Dr Grordbort book, Triumph: Unnecessarily Violent Tales of Science Adventure for the Simple and Unfortunate.

"Visual Art activates the human mind. It provokes thought, emotion, inspiration and creativity.  It provides an avenue for political, social and cultural commentary.

It breaks language, gender and age barriers, and remains one of the most unregulated forms of artistic expression.

Encourage and embrace that freedom".  Eyeball Kicks
